WALKING TOURS of MILLBURN~SHORT HILLS
If you are interested in getting to know the history of Millburn and Short Hills, and getting some exercise, you might be interested in taking one of the many amazing walking tours offered by the Millburn-Short Hills Historical Society.
Some Attractions:
- In the Millburn Center Walking Tour, one of the sites to visit is the "Neighborhood House", a pre-civil war house designed with an eclectic blend of Gothic Revival and Italianate designs.
- In the Short Hills Park Walking Tour #1, you will visit "The Anchorage", built c. 1880, Queen Anne style (Shaw).
You can purchase the brochures at the museum at the Short Hills train station and at the Millburn Public Library -- for $5 for the set of five at the library and museum.
